About Rogers Bayfest
Our Mission Statement
To promote educate and introduce a variety of musical genres and cultures to the youth.
Objectives
Bayfest Festival of Performing Arts dedicates itself to promote, preserve and perpetuate arts and cultural activities in the Sarnia-Lambton Area. This means that we ensure that all performers and fans needs are met, and the true art of music is celebrated. With an outstanding stage, and media attention, professional performers are provided with the tools to ensure their performance is a memorable one.
Rogers Bayfest began back in 1999 with a single performance and has since grown to a multi-day event. The growth and development have provided new and exciting elements for the fans attending each year.
Every summer since that beginning year, Sarnia has anticipated a flood of national and international tourists for the annual festival.
Rogers Bayfest has done wonders for the city of Sarnia and local communities. Last year alone more then 75,000 people from 12 of Canada's provinces and territories, 27 states and great distances overseas attended.
Involving every facet of the community, the festival is not only one of the largest tourist attractions for the area, but also one of the biggest economic stimulators.
Rogers Bayfest is a non-profit organization with proceeds going back into our community. It also provides opportunities for local charities and not-for-profit organizations to raise awareness and funds.
With Rogers Bayfest growing each year and drawing world-renowned acts including such performers as KISS, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban, the need for a bigger and more capable stage resulted in the purchase of one the largest stages around.
Careful to not exclude any fan, Rogers Bayfest brings in several different genres of music, ranging from Country, Rock and Pop to R&B and Funk.
Bayfest is known for its detailed organization, structure and impressive quality and commitment to our community. It will forever be known as the number one event to take place in Sarnia-Lambton and will continue to be one of Southwestern Ontario's finest entertainment experiences.
